Since I don't actually generate much income while staying home with my boys (although I can argue that I save us a ton of money), gift giving is always tough for me. So, I am always looking for fun (and cheap) gift ideas for my husband. Last year for Valentine's Day, I made him a sailor's valentine with some of the many shells we bring home from the beach. He loved it and seemed to appreciate the many hours I spend hunched over the glue gun.
This year, I have been looking for an equally heartfelt idea.
Have you heard of wordle? The only thing about being "gone" for so long is that I now feel like I am the last to know anything about everything. So, if you have already seen this site, move along friends. There is nothing to see here. But if you haven't played around with wordle yet...make some time this weekend to pour a cup of tea and head on over.
As soon as I saw this site and started plugging in words, I knew that this would make a really fun Valentine's Day present for my husband...and my three boys. For each of them I entered their names and words that described them like tree-climber and joke-teller and naturalist, etc. Then I played around with color and font...love, love the fonts. Then, when I was happy with the layout, I printed them off on photo paper. Tomorrow, I'm off to find some fun frames for each of them.
Shhhhhh!
Valentine's Day is not for two weeks yet, so I'm counting on you to keep this a secret until then.
K?
