For the past year Stefani and I have been meeting up each Sunday evening...ok, sometimes it was a Monday or a Tuesday evening over here. The encounters have been quiet ones, in the middle of the night when little ones were fast aleep. Or perhaps in the early morning hours when the world is still dark, but the coffee is on. Whomever would arrive first would post their weekly triptych and leave an encouraging word or two for the other. A check in from one mama to another. Small glimpses into each other's lives via a few words to each other and three photos a week.
Six One Way is over. And part of me is a bit sad to be quite honest. Neither Stefani or I have had the heart to post a final "week 52". And that is ok with me...leaving the door open just a smidge.

But I am also proud of myself. So very proud. Proud that I actually finished a project that took an entire year. Pround of how much my picture taking has improved. Pround of some of the conversations that have begun between women taking three photos a week and posting to the flickr group.
Remember, I said that the door was left open? Yes, there is a new project. Six has organically lead to a new project. If you have been following for a while you might have noticed a common thread between our photos. That should give you a good clue as to the gist of our new project.
Any guesses?

I used flickr's QOOP to have the photos bound. I tried blurb, but just didn't get the hang of it and was afraid if I took the time to really figure it out, I wouldn't get this project finished. I'll try blurb again some other time.
