The words are not flowing quite like I would like them too. Ideas, thoughts, phrses are coming hard and fast and incomplete. And lots of mundane things going on like refinancing the Wisconsin house so we do not loose our shirts in this market, getting paperwork together to file taxes to pay for said refinance, lots of care packges getting ready to go out, and lots of laundry. So, I am posting just some notes and photos without much thought to sentence structure and points being made. I like how Amy is doing things these days. Hey, I always love how Amy does things. So I am doing my own version here. Hope you don't mind Amy.
--Our eggs from A Wing and a Prayer Farm arrived yesterday. Seven dozen of the most beautiful eggs you have ever seen were hand delivered to our house. Thanks Kellie! No wonder Martha Stewart was inspired to create a line of paint from chicken eggs. These are so pretty I couldn't bring myself to crack and eat one this morning. I am loving this eating local thing.
-- This morning I realized that I have become THAT mom. You know, the one that walks the kids to the bus stop in her pj's with coffee in hand. A far cry from my Anne Taylor suits and heels of my 20 something's. So ironic.
--I finally finished Zane's pillow, my embroidery from his drawing. It has been in the works since August, but is now completed and he loves it! The pillow already has drool stains to prove it.
--News from the "sandbox". Papa is well and Zane is completely amazed with the postcard he sent showing the "most ginormous sancastle I ever seen mama!"
I wish I had more to share in the way of sewing projects. There are a gazillion things on my list. Maybe next week. Happy weekend all!
