In many ways, I feel like our summer is just beginning. Most of ours was spent in transition. We are finally moved, unpacked (almost) and settling into what summer really means to me. Some of which includes lazy breakfasts, hanging at the beach, fresh picked fruit, nature crafts, playing in the waterhose and painting outside.
I guess its going to be a short summer for us here...we'd better get to work.
On our list:
- smiley face pancakes at least once a week (check)
- making some friendship bracelets for the friends we havent seen in two years
- shell necklaces
- making sand playdough
- make each boy a sock animal
- make each boy an explorer backpack
- paint a boat and sail it
- completely finish one room in the house so that I can take photos and show those of you who keep asking me what the house looks like (wink)
