The stripey blanket is making progress although it is slow going. Crochet seems to be somewhat of a winter sport for me. When the weather is nice it just seems more natural to be pushing someone on the swing or taking a walk looking for wildflowers or birds. But it is happening and just might actually get checked off of the "to do" list one of these days.
I am feeling a little uneasy for some reason tonight...I'm not sure why. Maybe it is that we have been living out of a suitcase now for three weeks. Maybe it is that I am missing my sweet husband who is back in Wisconsin. Or maybe it is just that I am having a harder time than I thought getting back flying solo. Or maybe I'm just getting a little antsy without my sewing machine. I just can't bring myself to post another "thrifty finds" type post. Seriously, how many vintage aprons and kid's books can one actually stomach? OK, do not answer that. And with my sewing machine on a truck on its way to Virginia Beach, there is no sewing in store for the next 3 weeks. Yes, we will be at my parent's house for three more weeks before the new house is ready.
So how about something different? I always wonder if other bloggers will think I am a stalker if I ask them too many questions about themselves. And I have gotten a couple of emails lately asking me "how do you do it with 3 kids?" and "what do you think my grandmother's Pyrex collection is worth?" and "are you Hispanic?" Not that I claim to be an expert on any of the above mentioned areas, but more that I have nothing to really write about tonight. So if there is a question you want to ask me, post it in the comments ...anything, really anything...and I will answer it in my next post along with a photo of hopefully something more interesting than a sad blanket with only four stripes.
