Hello World!
**see how the sunshine affects my mood, I told you so**
The sun is shining on us again and as I went outside to re-fill the bird feeder for the umteenth time this winter, I noticed an unbelievable sound. It sounds like rain...but it isn't. Just like a warm summer shower, but it is the sound of the snow melting. Everywhere. Awesome!
My spirit is renewed and I have been reminded yet once again, that I can not control everything in my world. Especially the weather. Why do I continually need to be reminded of this? Hmmm...maybe that I tend to be somewhat of a control freak? Maybe.
My Papaw even emailed me with this little thought:
The sun comes up and the sun goes downThe hands on the clock keep moving around!
Yep, they sure do Papaw. And what a gift today is after this last little zap of winter.
I could not help but get the camera out (like it is ever really put up) and take a few shots this morning. I meant to get a photo of the muffins I made early, early this morning. 5 a.m. early. And give you the recipe, which I think probably was on the Raisin Bran box at some time. But the photos quickly turned into this and this and this as each of the boys tried his hand with my camera. Sshhhh! Don't tell S that the boys play with my camera.
I don't have a lot of anything for you today other than an easy peasy muffin recipe and some fun photos. As I type this the boys are putting their puddle boots on for a morning walk to the neighborhood donut shop for a "snack". Mmmm....warm coconut donuts are my faves. Chocolate glazed with sprinkles for Zane, cake donut with maple icing for Ian, and Wyatt always gets a blueberry cake donut, no icing.
Hope the sun is shining where you are. And if it isn't, let me know and I'll put some in the mail for you and maybe it will arrive where you are tomorrow.
