Yesterday was another good day at Value Village. Not as good as the previous Friday posted below. But I was able to find a few little treasures. A few will end up in the shop. For the full low down you can see the photos here. But there were lots and lots of cookbooks. That's what happens when you don't eat breakfast and only have coffee before you leave. Hunger and then cookbook buying.
When I am thrift shopping, I never look at the pattern boxes. It takes too much time. I am paraniod that while I am browsing through the boxes and boxes and boxes of patterns, someone else might be finding a fabulous tablecloth or a pyrex bowl on the other side of the store. But this time, it was pretty dead in the 'ol Value Village and I thought I was pretty safe. I looked at almost every pattern and found a few that I thought were worthy of being thrown into my already overflowing cart. This one I was really excited about.
Do you see the little smock in the bottom left hand corner...would be so cute for several little girlies I can think of. And then there was a Zanesville pottery piece. At least I THINK Im pretty sure it is Zanesville.
I am working to get the shop all stocked up so that I can get back to this and this. I have already sold a few things, so I am extremly appreciative and excited! Woohoo!
We got around 12 inches of snow last night and expecting a whopper of a storm tonight with another 10-12 forcasted. So, my sewing machine is ready and waiting for the stars to align perfectly so that I can finish several projects that have been patiently waiting.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful, warm weekend.
