We have been working for several days now on the gifts we will give our amazing pre-school teachers. If you remember last year, we had some personality conflicts with the lead teacher and enede up pulling the boys out early. And we didnt know where we should send them (if at all) to preschool again this year. After much thought and a few conversations with other parents, we decided they would go back. After all, we loved the school and the activities they offer, it was just one teacher (who ended up moving anyway). And I am so, so glad we did because their teachers this year are so wonderful...energetic, creative, funny, and a great combination of organized and scheduled and a little nutty. We love them.
So, the boys have been making little embroidery snowflakes on linen. I found plastic kid needles that are perfect for them to use. The embroidery is all done now and we need to cut them into circles, sew the edges, stuff them and add a little vintage ribbon as hangers (sent by Norththreads). The older boys have loved the fact that using needles is a "big boy" craft and Wyatt has to do something else while they are sewing.
Ms. LuAnn, Ms. Gina, Ms. Hailey, Ms.Melissa, Ms. Laura you all are the best!
