Biography
In my past life I was a tree-huging lawyer wanna be in college, a naive college graduate wide-eyed and involved in the political process. After that I was a newly married website designer, development officer, marketer for a few major non-profit organizations. Now I am mama who is raising 3 boys, keeping my husband fed and happy (the fed part is a full-time job in itself), and trying fit a little creativity for myself in the mix somewhere.
I'm also the daughter of a western antiques dealer and a real life Texas cowboy (think Lonesome Dove). I grew up in a house filled with family heirlooms and great stories of the past. I was destined to love junking and all that is vintage. But more than that, I strive to incorporate vintage ways into our modern day living through traditional mothering, cooking, gardening, sewing, crafting, crochet, thrifting, camping and repurposing.
My style is pretty eclectic, but always vintage inspired. Most of the time I think I should be committed, but this is my crazy life and I dont know any other way to do it.
